Full colour conference document. 'Colour Story' was the second Textile Forum South West conference. The confernce featured national and regional textile practioners and their personal approaches to colour in textiles. The conference explored a variety of ideas about textiles and colour, from the use of new tecnologies for textile colouration, to more traditional 'hands on' approaches to colour and cloth. The speakers at the conference provided fascinating insights into their working processes with colour and textiles, from initial starting points, sketchbooks, samples and experiments, through to finished textiles for fashion, interiors and textile art.
