Dawn Mason is a textile artist and lecturer. She is also currently undertaking PhD study that examines the cultural value of stitch.
Her practice explores the theme of inheritance through the use of cloth, stitch and paper. A central concern is the value of physical and tactile intelligence and the validity of the handmade as a holder of knowledge.
